Our Programs

Montessori 1

Age: 3.5 to 4 Years

Trust and comfort of the student is the first priority. Regular conversations with the student and letting them explore the school and classroom gives them the ownership and makes them comfortable about coming to school.

To explain a concept, real life examples are used. This helps our young learners to relate the concepts to their own experiences; how numbers and letters fit in it and how they can further use them to enhance their experiences.

Vocabulary is built using visual aids. Teachers believe in ‘use it and you will remember it’.
Verbal conversations are a step towards confidence for public speaking. Clear pronunciation is encouraged by facial exercises and games.

Drawing is encouraged. It makes them creative and encourages them to understand the concept, analyze it and produce it either on paper or as a model. Reading is introduced. First picture books are used. What-will-happen-next technique is used to keep them involved in the story. Sight words are introduced with the help of flash cards.
Grooming is very important. Punctuality, responsibility and independence is inculcated throughout the term so that when they move to the next level they can handle their classwork and homework without any help.
