Reception

Reception is child’s first experience of formal learning. We strive to make this a productive and positive time for our young learner in order to encourage a love for learning. It is an exciting time of learning a range of new skills. In Reception, we focus on developing a child’s verbal skills. Our objective is to make a child learn through kinesthetic activities. Play is a very important part of a child’s development and most learning is introduced at this time. Our main goal is to develop their hand-control which is a pre-requisite to writing. We also include art and craft and story-telling time in our activities. Basic literacy and numeracy concepts are covered in Reception.
